Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, on his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a goodwill message shared via his official handle, the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate expressed confidence that the revered monarch’s reign would bring prosperity and development to Ibadan and Oyo State at large.
Atiku described Oba Ladoja as a leader whose wealth of experience as a businessman, politician, and administrator uniquely positions him to make a meaningful impact as Olubadan.
“I congratulate my brother and compatriot, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Arusa I, on his installation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan.
I am confident that Oba Ladoja will bring his wealth of experience as a businessman, politician, and seasoned administrator into his new role.
Just as his tenure as governor laid the foundation for the development of modern Oyo State, I have no doubt that his reign as Olubadan will be impactful and one that every son and daughter of Ibadan, as well as friends of the city like me, will be proud of.
