Hon. Olumide Oduola, popularly known as Alayaki Ona-Ara, a prominent youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ona-Ara Local Government, has warmly congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Sen.) Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, on his installation today as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Alayaki Ona-Ara described Oba Ladoja as not only a custodian of tradition but also a statesman of remarkable stature who has left indelible footprints in governance and public service. He noted that the former Governor’s wealth of experience in leadership, combined with his deep understanding of people and culture, makes his ascension to the revered Olubadan stool both timely and significant.
Hon. Oduola prayed that Almighty Allah grant the new Olubadan long life, sound health, and wisdom to reign. He expressed confidence that Oba Ladoja’s reign will not only consolidate the rich cultural heritage of the Ibadan people but also contribute meaningfully to the peace, progress, and development of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
“I extend my warm congratulations to the Olubadan-designate and to the great people of Ibadanland. May his reign usher in greater peace, prosperity, and progress,” he said.
