As Muslims across the world gather to commemorate the blessed occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, the Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Oyo State Chapter, extends heartfelt felicitations to our esteemed Muslim brothers and sisters. This joyous day, which marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), falls on September 8, 2025 (17th Rabi’ al-Awwal, 1447 AH).
Eid-el-Maulud reminds us of the Prophet’s timeless teachings of compassion, justice, humility, and service to humanity. As a people, we are called to embody these values in our daily lives and in our pursuit of a better society. We pray that Almighty Allah continues to guide us all on the path of righteousness, peace, and mutual respect.
As we look ahead to the future of our dear state, particularly the journey towards the 2027 elections, we beseech Allah’s blessings in granting Oyo State leaders who will prioritize inclusiveness, development, and the aspirations of young people. We also pray for protection against saboteurs and all forces that may undermine the peace and stability of our land.
“May Allah bless Oyo State and its people, granting us strength, resilience, and determination to build a brighter future for ourselves and generations yet unborn.”
