Symbol of Good Leadership: Students Welcome CP, Commend Gov. Makinde for Peaceful Ibadan By-Election
As Secretary of the Oyo State Student Stakeholders Forum, it was a rare privilege for me to be among the student leaders who welcomed the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, CP Olufemi Haruna during his monitoring process at the By-Election held yesterday.
The Commissioner of Police, accompanied by a large security entourage that included the Nigerian Army, Immigration, and NSCDC officers, entered The Polytechnic Ibadan with gallant presence. We received him in a calm, peaceful, and well coordinated atmosphere, which reflected the level of maturity and discipline of both voters and students. The CP was visibly impressed and commended the peaceful conduct at the polling units.
