Hon. Olaleye Olusegun Thomas, a Nigerian-Canadian politician and former House of Representatives aspirant from Fiditi in Afijio Local Government, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, fondly known as Don, on his victory in the recently concluded Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election.
In his congratulatory message made available to Egalitarian Voice on Sunday morning, Thomas described the victory as a triumph not only for Don but also for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), noting that the outcome reflects the people’s trust in the party’s vision and performance under Governor Seyi Makinde.
He saluted the steadfast leadership of Governor Makinde, commending him for providing direction, stability, and the enabling environment that continues to make the PDP the party of choice across Oyo State.

Thomas, who maintains a strong connection to his grassroots in Fiditi and Afijio Local Government, also appreciated party members, stakeholders, and the electorates whose commitment and loyalty ensured the PDP’s success at the polls.
