Ibadan Circular Road: Opening a New Axis of Development
Part two of our inspection of the Ibadan Circular Road takes us further along this transformative project with Oyo State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola.
Spanning 110 kilometres, the Circular Road is designed to serve as a strategic bypass, diverting heavy traffic, goods, and freight away from the congested city centre, while connecting key entry and exit points to Ibadan.
As we move along the route, it is clear the road is doing more than easing transportation. It is unlocking a new corridor of development. Entire stretches of once-quiet land are now attracting investment, and a fresh axis of Ibadan is beginning to take shape before our eyes.
