Radio Nigeria Headquarters Destroyed By Fire, Firefighters On Site (Video)
A fire broke out at Radio Nigeria’s office in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Wednesday, November 27, around 5:30 p.m. The blaze quickly spread through the studio section of the one-storey building.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed the incident on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, advising motorists to avoid the area as emergency teams worked to control the fire. LASTMA posted, “Ikoyi Fire Accident. Radio Nigeria is on fire, and firefighters are on-site to extinguish the flames. All roads in the vicinity have been blocked; motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
