Hon Abass Akanji, the Councillor representing Araromi Ward 2 in Ona-Ara Local Government Council, has empowered his constituents with cash grants and financial support.
According to the news made available to Egalitarian Voice correspondent, Wisdom Darasimi, the distribution ceremony held on 30th October, 2024, at Araromi, Aperin Town, where Hon. Akanji reiterated his commitment to fulfilling campaign promises made during the LG election.
This empowerment initiative aims to provide business financial support and relief to individuals during the current economic downturn, enabling them to invest and generate a decent livelihood. The focus is on vulnerable groups, including windows, the less privileged, and unemployed youths.

Hon. Akanji reiterated his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises made during the LG election. “This cash grant is just the beginning,” he assured. “We will continue to empower more people in phases.”
