Alhaja Saratu Konibaje, Prominent Market leader in Oyo state led a delegation of Market Leaders and a team of “Itesiwaju OyoDotun Movement “, members on a visit to a prominent and highly respected leader in Ogbomoso land , Alhaji (Khalifa) Monsur AbdulHamid Ayoade EJIDE.
EJIDE ,who is the Board of Trustee(BOT) chairman of Islamic Brotherhood of Nigeria (ISBON) and the patron of Marketers in all the five Local Government Areas of Ogbomoso land: Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South,Oorire,Ogo Oluwa and Surulere, received Alhaja Saratu Konibaje’s entourage with pomp and pagentry.
Alhaja Saratu begged for total support of the JDS Agenda ahead of different political events that will determine who emerges as the next Governor to succeed Engr. Seyi Makinde in 2027.
Alhaji EJIDE, the prominent Ogbomoso born respected leader,while responding to the overwhelming request for support for Jubril D’otun Sanusi (JDS) maintained his neutral stance as a non political figure.
He however assured Alhaja Saratu Konibaje and the team that the JDS Project will be tendered before Almighty Allah ,who is the sole giver of all powers and Authority.
EJIDE availed the moment to laud Chief Dotun Sanusi’s various positive contributions to socio economic and infrastructural developments,which he reiterated,should be extended to Ogbomoso land and her people.
He urged the JDS Mobilization Team to ensure consultation with meaningful leaders of note at all levels , particularly ,the political leaders in his move to securing the ticket of his political party ,which he advised ,be limited to among the two leading political parties,PDP or APC.
DIfferent speakers ,who were residents and Market Leaders of different associations eulogized Chief Dotun Sanusi as an uncommon patriot ,who is sincere to serve his people.
