Former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike has attributed the recent unrest in the state, following the local government elections, to Governor Fubara’s actions.
Egalitarian Voice reports that the FCT minister revealed this while appearing on Channels TV, Politics Today on Tuesday night.
Wike criticized the governor for allegedly dismissing the need for police involvement during the elections.
He argued that it is unacceptable for a governor to claim he doesn’t require police assistance to manage elections within his state.
