Emmanuel Alayande Varsity Expands Horizons: Governing Council Seeks Partnership with Oyo Ministry of Lands

The Emmanuel Alayande University of Education’s Governing Council Sub-Committee recently paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Lands, Housing, and Urban Development. Led by Chairman Mr. Kola Amole, the team commended Honorable Commissioner Mr. Williams Akin Funmilayo for his exceptional leadership while seeking assistance in securing additional land for the university’s expansion.

The team also lauded Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration for its tireless efforts in upgrading the institution from Emmanuel Alayande College of Education to a full-fledged university of education. This upgrade is a testament to the governor’s commitment to improving education in Oyo State. Under his administration, the state has seen significant investments in education, including the construction of model schools, renovation of classroom blocks, and recruitment of teachers. The university, formerly Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, was upgraded to a university of education by Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde.
