FULL LIST: Ondo State Governor appoints 344 aides
The Executive Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed 344 persons as senior special assistants (SSAs) and special assistants (SAs).
The appointments come about two months to the November 10 governorship election in Ondo state.
In April, Aiyedatiwa won the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Ondo state with 48,460 votes.
In a statement on Friday, Ebenezer Adeniyan, the governor’s chief press secretary, said the appointments will “enhance governance and service delivery to the people of the state”.
He said 28 persons were appointed as senior special assistants, while the other 316 are to serve as special assistants.
Adeniyan said the new appointments are spread across the 18 LGA, 33 local council development areas (LCDAs) and 203 wards in the state.
The governor charged the appointees to bring their wealth of experience and dedication to the service of the people of Ondo.
