[DISCIPLINE] — Four operatives of the Oyo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps were dismissed on May 2, 2024 at the State Headquarters, Moniya, Ibadan on grounds of gross misconduct bothering on conspiracy with criminal elements to steal iron parts meant for the construction of an hotel. This was following a decision by the Agency’s Authority in line with law that establishes it.
The quo; Bello Ayokomi, Adedeji Faniyi, Sakiru Olatunji and Gbenga Ademola who had earlier been posted to the construction site in February 2024, they connived with the night guards to sell iron parts to dealers.

The decision was made as a deterrence to other operatives with criminal intentions or acts. It is also a promise by the Agency to the general public of its drive to continue fishing out any bad elements among its operatives.

The dismissed operatives are to be handed over to police for prosecution. This will testified to the resolve of the Agency that erring members who indulge in criminal activities will not be spared.
Egalitarian Voice recall that this is not the first time, the Corps will dismissed her operatives for misconduct or crime activities in other to serve as a warning for others.
