At a time when Nigerians are suffering, dealing with the alarming rate of ritual killings in our society, the spate of kidnapping, internet fraud, hard drugs, violence and insecurity across the country traumatizing the helpless citizenry, unending criminalities arising from corruption, killings, cultism, rape, armed robbery, poverty, unemployment, hopelessness, the Coalition of Nigeria Youth on Security and Safety Affairs CONYSSA Oyo State Chapter seized the opportunity to organize a one-day youth stakeholders security summit on crime reduction and prevention
The Coalition made this known on Monday in an official statement signed by the the Director General Amb Ade Mario Emmanuel and made available to journalists by the National Director Media, Maryam Aminu.

The summit is scheduled to hold in Mauve21 Event Centre MKO Abiola way Ring road Ibadan Oyo State, on 14th November, 2023 at 10:00am
According to the statement, the gathering which is convened to foster economic prosperity, social integration and political development through enhanced security mechanisms will bring together youth stakeholders to discuss solutions to tackle the insecurity in the state.

CONYSSA will continue to complement to ensuring internal security stability and creating a secure environment conducive to the people of the state

He added that the summit will enable the youths to synergise with officers from sister security agencies on improving security & security-related issues in the state.
According to the Organizer, the summit will attract Executive Governor of Oyo State, speaker Oyo State House of Assembly,Hon. Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, , Amb. Dr. Adebamiji Oluniyi, National Patron, Amb. Hon. Dare Akande, OON, Col. Olayinka Olayanju (Rtd.) Oyo Amotekun Commandant and others.
