Payback Time Is Now: OTOPE’s Proven Track Record, Humanitarian Service, and Contributions to PDP and Society Must Not Go Unrewarded — He Deserves the 2027 Rep Ticket

There is a saying that “the tree that bears good fruit attracts stones.” In the same vein, a man whose works speak for him needs no loud trumpet—his impact becomes his voice. As the journey toward 2027 gathers momentum, one name continues to resonate across Egbeda and Ona-Ara Federal Constituency—Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE).
The renowned political philosopher John Locke once noted that “the end of law is not to abolish or restrain, but to preserve and enlarge freedom.” True leadership, therefore, is not measured by promises made, but by lives improved—and in this regard, OTOPE’s record stands tall.
Cast your mind back to 2021—a defining moment when over 200 individuals across Ona-Ara and Egbeda Local Governments were empowered through the OTOPE Foundation. They were not just trained; they were equipped with tools of trade after intensive vocational training in tailoring, baking, hairdressing, barbing, and more. That effort was not a one-off gesture; it was the foundation of a sustained legacy of service.
Since then, his interventions have continued steadily. From a two-month hands-on vocational programme benefitting over 300 youths and young adults, to meaningful support for farmers through provision of tools and financial assistance, the story has remained one of consistency. Indeed, “little drops of water make a mighty ocean.”

Widows have not been forgotten, receiving timely financial support when it mattered most. Communities have been lit up with solar lights, bringing relief and security. Education has also received a major boost through the distribution of over 30,000 exercise books to 30 public schools. Each year, more than 500 students benefit from free JAMB and NECO forms, complete with tutorials—because OTOPE understands that investing in education is investing in the future.
In marketplaces, public toilets built through his foundation stand as practical solutions to everyday challenges. As the proverb goes, “truth needs no defence; evidence speaks for itself.”
Within the PDP, Dr. Oladimeji has shown unwavering commitment. He has consistently supported party members and contributed to the growth and stability of the party in Oyo State. He has not been a stranger to the struggles of the grassroots; rather, he has stood shoulder to shoulder with them.
When the fuel subsidy removal in 2023 brought hardship to many, he responded with free fuel palliatives that reached commercial drivers—Okada riders, Maruwa operators, Micra drivers—as well as the elderly and less privileged. At a time when many were silent, he chose action over words.
Healthcare interventions for retirees and the aged further reflect his belief that leadership must be humane and inclusive. Today, in Egbeda and Ona-Ara, the name “OTOPE” has become synonymous with hope for the masses.
Putting all these together, one truth becomes evident: this is not just a man seeking political office, but one who has earned the trust and goodwill of the people through years of sacrifice and service. “The labourer deserves his wages.”

Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji’s proven track record, humanitarian services, and steadfast contributions to the PDP and society should not go unrewarded. The call from the grassroots is growing stronger by the day.

As 2027 approaches, the message is clear and unmistakable:
OTOPE deserves the PDP House of Representatives ticket.
The people are ready to reward dedication, loyalty, and genuine service.
