…Urges ADC members to register their membership now

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), former governorship candidate in Oyo State, and a 2027 Oyo State governorship hopeful, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi, popularly known as BASA, has declared that recent political developments have vindicated her earlier position that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was heading for serious internal crisis.
BASA made the remark while welcoming Oloye Adegoke Adegboyega into the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing his decision to join the party as a bold step toward a new political direction.

According to her, when she previously warned that the PDP was gradually losing its structure and direction, many critics attacked and dismissed her comments.
“When I said PDP had finished, some people slammed me and said I was wrong. But what is happening now speaks for itself,” BASA stated.
She added that the ADC continues to gain momentum, as more progressive-minded leaders and supporters align with the party’s vision for credible leadership and people-oriented governance.

BASA further commended Oloye Adegoke Adegboyega for what she described as a courageous and strategic political move, assuring him that the ADC remains a platform committed to inclusiveness, grassroots development, and genuine democratic values.

She also urged Oloye Adegboyega’s supporters and members of the public to take advantage of the ongoing ADC membership registration, stressing that the party is open to all individuals who are passionate about genuine change and development.
The development, according to political observers, is part of the ongoing political realignments ahead of future elections, with several stakeholders reassessing their positions across party lines.
