Egalitarian Voice reports that Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, a former Commissioner for Finance under the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, has formally announced his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The declaration ceremony attracted top political figures, including the Oyo State PDP Vice Chairman, Alh. Wasiu Adeleke; Ona-Ara PDP Chairman, Alh. Kehinde Adeyemo; Ona-Ara Local Government Chairman, Dr. Temitope Kolapo (GLORIOUS); Hon Ogunremi, Alh Adurodekun, Hon Wale Ajala, Honourable Councillors; Supervisors; and several other prominent personalities across the local government.
The event took place today, Wednesday, 10 December 2025, at Gbada-Efon, Ward 4, Ona-Ara Local Government, Oyo State.
