Prominent political figure and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Waheed Adurodekun, has extolled Chief Dotun Sanusi as an extraordinary human being whose existence continues to make meaningful impacts on society.
In a congratulatory statement issued today, Hon. Adurodekun praised Chief Sanusi—widely known for his philanthropy and leadership—as a unique creature of divine purpose, whose positive contributions have touched countless lives across Nigeria
His comments follow the recent installation of Chief Dotun Sanusi as the “Eze Meganu OHA 1 of Runuomasi Kingdom” in Rivers State, a title Hon. Adurodekun describes as “befitting and well-earned” in recognition of Sanusi’s enduring legacy of service and community development.
“Chief Dotun Sanusi is not only the Asiwaju of Ona Ara Local Government, but a global citizen whose deeds continue to draw admiration from far and wide. His recognition as Eze Meganu OHA 1 is a testament to the values he stands for—unity, progress, and selfless service,” Adurodekun said.
He added that the people of Ona Ara and indeed Ibadanland are proud to associate with Sanusi, who also holds the esteemed title of Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland.
“We joyfully celebrate this remarkable milestone and pray for more wisdom and strength for Chief Sanusi as he continues to serve humanity in ever greater ways,” Adurodekun concluded.
The conferment ceremony, which took place in Rivers State, attracted traditional leaders, political stakeholders, and community representatives from across the country, signifying Chief Sanusi’s growing influence beyond Oyo State.
