Chief Yekini Adeojo’s passing has sent shockwaves throughout Ibadanland and the political circles. As the Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland, he was a revered spiritual leader and a significant figure in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Hon. Moshood Saheed Adekunle, a two term councillorship aspirant of Ward 8 in Ibadan North Local government, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Adeojo family, particularly to Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, the Executive Chairman of Ido LG. Moshood Saheed described Chief Adeojo’s demise as a “huge loss” and prayed that God grants the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
Chief Adeojo’s impressive resume includes being a former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP and one of the founding fathers of the party in Oyo State. He was also a respected spiritual leader, holding the title of Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland. His contributions to the community and politics will undoubtedly be deeply missed.
Before his passing, Chief Adeojo had announced his decision to quit politics. He passed away on Friday morning in Ibadan.
