Bolanle Sarumi (BASA), a governorship aspirant in Oyo State, extends heartfelt condolences to the Muslim community on the passing of Alhaji Haruna Maiyasin Kastina, the Sarkin Sasa Sadauna Yamma and Chairman of the Council of Arewa Traditional Rulers in the 17 Southern States of Nigeria who passed away on Saturday evening.
Alhaji Kastina’s remarkable life, spanning 125 years, was marked by his unwavering commitment to fostering peaceful and harmonious relationships between the Arewa community and other ethnic nationalities in Ibadanland and across Southern Nigeria.
BASA described Alhaji Kastina as a respected leader who played a vital role in promoting unity and understanding among diverse communities.
“His legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire generations to come.
“May Almighty Allah grant Alhaji Haruna Maiyasin Kastina Aljannah Firdaus and his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” BASA prayed.
