2025 Recruitment: CDCFIB Issues Fresh Notice for Civil Defence, Immigration, Prisons, and Fire Service Applicants

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has raised the alarm over a fake recruitment notice currently circulating on social media regarding the ongoing 2025 recruitment exercise.
In the purported notice, which claimed that shortlisted applicants had been invited for physical screening and document verification between January 12 and 16, 2026, the Board stated that the information did not originate from CDCFIB.
The document, bearing the name of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board and dated December 29, 2025, has since been stamped “FAKE”, warning applicants and the general public to disregard it entirely.

According to the Board, no official announcement has been made regarding the next stage of the recruitment process, including physical screening, document verification, venues, or dates.
CDCFIB further emphasized that all authentic updates concerning its recruitment exercise are released only through its official channels and recruitment portal, urging applicants to be cautious of misleading information shared via unofficial platforms.
The Board advised candidates to avoid paying money or responding to messages from individuals or groups claiming to have special access to recruitment processes, stressing that the CDCFIB recruitment exercise remains free, transparent, and merit-based.
