As the countdown begins to the much-anticipated by-election for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency in Oyo State, scheduled for August 16, 2025, Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi (BASA) has thrown her weight behind the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Hon. Dr. Oluwafemi Dexter Alamu.
BASA expressed strong confidence in Dr. Alamu’s capacity to secure victory at the polls, describing him as the right choice to represent the people of Ibadan North at the federal level.

Earlier, Egalitarian Voice had reported the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) confirmation of August 16th as the official date for the by-election.
