2023: Atiku Makes Emotional Speech As PDP Receives New Members In Yola

The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar was in Adamawa, his home state, on Monday, where he formally welcomed new party members.
Atiku assured the thousands of people who Flocked to the event’s venue in Ribadu Square that he is in politics and is looking to lead the nation in service in a brief but moving speech at the reception for the new members there.
“You have been supporting me in politics for more than 30 years. Your assistance is not taken for granted by me. God’s blessings on you I love you all, he said to the audience of supporters.
He had previously assured the two state House of Assembly members and roughly 1,640 other people who were largely APC defectors to the PDP that the party’s umbrella was large and robust enough to accommodate each member.
PDP dignitaries that stormed Yola with Atiku for the reception for the new party members were Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the party’s national chairman, and Ifeanyi Okowa, former vice president Namadi Sambo, and Aliyu Babangida, the former governor of Niger State.

Atiku, whom Ayu described as a unifier who will unify the country if elected president in 2023, was produced in Adamawa State, he said.
Ayu urged the gathering to participate in the campaign to elect Atiku president, saying, “The enormous throng here today demonstrates that you are a unifier who would unite this country.”
