An 18-year old boy, Kingdom Paul, has been arrested by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly murdering a 38-year-old prostitute, Victory Oro, in Benin.
Kingdom allegedly murdered the woman after an argument ensued between them over the payment for sex after a sex romp in a local hotel.
The two had met at a local lodge where Kingdom offered to pay the victim for sexual romp..
After agreeing to the amount to be paid, fight broke out between them after the sexual encounter when argument occurred over the actual amount that was earlier agreed on.
In the process, Kingdom l allegedly stabbed Oro during the disagreement. She was rushed to a hospital located on Upper Ekenwan Road, where she later died and her body deposited in the hospital’s mortuary for an autopsy.
Narrating how Kingdom was arrested, the Edo State Police Spokesman, SP Moses Joel Yamu while parading Kingdom along other individuals at the Edo Police Command at their headquarters in Benin City.
Edo State,said:
“On 05/09/2024 at about 12:00 noon, operatives of Evbuotubu Division acting on information, arrested one Kingdom Paul ‘m’ 18yrs who stabbed one lady named Victory Oro ‘f 38yrs in a lodge where they went to have fun.
“The victim was immediately rushed to Supreme Hospital, Upper Ekenwan where she gave up the ghost. Her corpse has been deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy. Investigation is ongoing.”

Speaking with reporters, Paul admitted to the crime, confessing that he attacked Oro suddenly and without any apparent reason, despite having agreed earlier to pay her N2,000 for the encounter.
